Pricing and quoting principles for machinery repair
Every job is quoted individually, but always on the same principles. Here we explain what the price of a mobile repair is made of, what diagnostics include, how travel is charged and when you learn the cost of the repair.
What the price is made of
- Diagnostics: time spent with the tester and measuring instruments to find the cause of the fault.
- Labour: repair time at the machine or in the workshop.
- Parts and materials: as actually used. You can also buy parts yourself from your own supplier – we will tell you what to order.
- Travel: depends on the distance and travel time to where the machine stands.
- Workshop rebuilds: hydraulic cylinders, pumps and control valves are quoted after removal and inspection.
What diagnostics include
- reading and analysing fault codes and operating data from the machine's controllers,
- measurements: electrical, hydraulic pressures and flows, DPF and AdBlue system sensors,
- identifying the cause of the fault and a proposed scope of repair with a quote.
How we charge for travel
The travel cost depends on the distance and travel time to the machine. We give it when we agree the date, before we set off. If several machines need checking at the same location, we deal with them during one visit.
We travel across Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Standard requests are usually handled within 24–48 business hours; for a breakdown that stops the machine we aim to arrive the same working day, and regular customers get 24/7 emergency support.
When you learn the cost of the repair
Before the repair starts we quote labour, parts and travel. Work begins once you approve it. When the job is done you receive a description of the work performed and a VAT invoice.
How to speed up the quote
The quickest way is the enquiry form, where you can add photos. Enquiries in English are welcome; the phone number is Polish (+48).
- give the make, model, year and operating hours of the machine,
- describe the symptoms, copy the fault codes or photograph the display,
- attach photos of the leak or damaged part,
- tell us where the machine is and whether it can move.
