Hydraulic repair for construction machinery
Diagnostics of hydraulic system control, including pumps, motors and control valves. Based on measurements and analysis, we determine the technical condition of components, the cause of malfunction and provide recommendations for further actions.
We provide mobile hydraulic repairs for construction machinery where the machine works: on site, in a quarry or at your yard in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. On site we measure pressures and flows and trace leaks and loss of power. Hydraulic cylinders (rams), pumps and control valves that need rebuilding are reconditioned in our own workshop.
In a power hydraulic system the pump turns engine power into oil flow under pressure, the control valve directs it to the consumers, and cylinders and hydraulic motors do the work: lifting the boom, slewing the upper structure, driving the tracks or the roller drum. A fault in one component often shows up somewhere else, so we start with measurements rather than replacing parts on a hunch.

Hydraulic cylinder repair and rebuild
A hydraulic ram wears gradually: first a film of oil on the rod, then a clear leak at the gland, and under load the boom or bucket starts to creep down. Scores and pitting on the chrome rod destroy every new seal, so replacing seals alone is not always enough.
After removal we inspect the barrel, piston, rod and guides, replace the full seal kit and decide whether the rod can stay in service. The reassembled cylinder is pressure-tested before it goes back on the machine. Before removing it we check on the machine whether the creep is caused by the cylinder or by a valve, so that a healthy cylinder is not rebuilt.
Hydraulic pump and control valve repair
When every movement is slower than usual, the oil heats up quickly and the pump whines or rattles, the cause is often a worn pump or a relief valve that does not hold pressure. If only one function is weak or dead, the control valve section, its pilot control or the consumer on that circuit is the more likely culprit.
On site we measure working and pilot pressures and pump output, and check the relief valves and valve sections against the manufacturer's figures. Pumps and control valves that have to be dismantled are rebuilt in our workshop. After a pump failure with metal particles we also recommend an oil and filter change so the new or rebuilt pump does not wear the same way.
On-site pressure and leak diagnostics
Hydraulic diagnostics means measuring, not guessing. We connect pressure gauges and a flow meter to the test points, compare the readings with the manufacturer's values for the model and, on electronically controlled machines, also read the fault codes and live data from the controller (see machine electrics and electronics).
- working pressure and relief valve settings of each section,
- pilot pressure and joystick operation,
- pump output and internal leakage in cylinders and hydraulic motors,
- oil temperature and condition, filters, air in the system,
- tightness of hoses, fittings and attachment quick couplers.
Hoses, fittings and attachment hydraulics
A burst hose or a leaking fitting can stop a machine for a whole day. We replace hydraulic hoses, fittings and seals, check attachment circuits (breakers, shears, grabs, quick couplers) and the flow settings for the attachment. After every repair the system is bled and tested under load.
When to call a hydraulic service
- the machine loses force or speed of movement,
- the boom, bucket or blade creeps down under load,
- there is a leak at a rod, hose or pump,
- the hydraulic oil overheats or foams,
- the pump is noisy and movements are jerky or uneven,
- one function does not work while the others are normal.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an excavator hydraulic repair cost?
It depends on the cause: replacing a hose costs very differently from rebuilding a pump. That is why we first diagnose with measurements and then quote labour, parts and travel before the repair. What the price depends on is explained in our pricing principles.
Do you rebuild hydraulic cylinders and pumps?
Yes. Cylinders, pumps and control valves are rebuilt in our workshop. We can remove and refit them at the machine and then check the whole system works.
Can you repair the hydraulics on site, without transporting the machine?
Yes. Diagnostics and most repairs (hoses, seals, valves, pressure settings) are done on site. Only components that need dismantling and machining, such as a cylinder for a rebuild, go to the workshop.
What should I prepare before the hydraulic service arrives?
Make, model and operating hours of the machine, a description of the symptoms and when they started, when the oil and filters were last changed and, if possible, photos of the leak or damaged part. You can add them in the enquiry form.
How quickly can you arrive in case of breakdown?
We are available Monday-Friday 7:00-17:00. For standard breakdowns - 24-48 business hours. For urgent breakdowns causing machine downtime we offer express service - same business day arrival.
Is the service mobile?
Yes, we have fully equipped mobile service teams. We come directly to the construction site or machine location with complete diagnostic equipment.
What machine brands do you service?
We service all leading brands: Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Bomag, Dynapac, Ammann, John Deere, New Holland, Claas, Fendt, Valtra, Steyr, Doosan, Liebherr, JCB, Volvo, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Takeuchi, Bobcat, Doppstadt, Terex and many others.
Do you use original spare parts?
We encourage customers to purchase required parts themselves - this way they can build their own discount packages with their suppliers and maximize benefits from regular purchases. We focus on professional diagnostics and repairs.
How does the repair process work?
Report → Initial diagnostics → Service arrival → On-site diagnostics → Quote → Repair → Tests.
Can I schedule a preventive inspection?
Yes, we offer comprehensive preventive inspections according to manufacturer recommendations. For companies with larger machinery fleets we prepare dedicated service packages.
What is the cost of service travel?
We calculate travel cost individually depending on location. We will provide the exact amount before the visit.
Do you work on weekends?
We normally work Monday-Friday 7:00-17:00. For regular customers in case of breakdowns we provide emergency support 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
How can I get a repair quote?
You can get a quote after initial diagnostics by phone or after detailed on-site diagnostics. We always present transparent calculation before starting work.
What it costs and how we charge for travel
Every repair is quoted before work starts: diagnostics, labour, parts and travel separately. Details: Pricing and quoting principles
Hydraulic repair: where we travel
We work across Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Below are the countries and regions we cover; we travel to any location there on the same terms.
Did you know that...
Regular maintenance noticeably extends the life of construction machinery. Changing hydraulic oil at the manufacturer's intervals prevents costly pump and valve repairs.
Many electronic system failures in construction machinery result from wiring and connector problems. Regular electrical connection checks can prevent most failures.
Hydraulic oil temperature above 80°C ages it many times faster. An efficient cooling system is the foundation of long-term hydraulic operation.
Computer diagnostics can detect many problems in electronic control systems before they lead to serious failure. Regular error reading is key to predictable operation.
Hydraulic filters should be replaced at the machine manufacturer's intervals. Contaminated oil is one of the most common causes of hydraulic system failures.
Batteries in construction machinery should be checked every 3 months. Weak battery is the most common cause of starting problems, especially in winter.
